Gocco is a pleasure, a pill addiction. And unfortunately, an extinct form of screen printing in miniature. Since I sometimes mention it, but almost never show it, here an account of last week's goccning. Wish I could run dia-display with spout between images. lighting beard Think Pogo Educator. Now we start. Blipp! First, I make sure to have a whole bunch of pieces of paper or cardboard in the correct format ready. Next, I cut out my motives, which I made in advance on the computer and printed on a laser printer. Maxformatet for my Gocco PG 5 is 10x15 cm, so I cut out the patch exactly as large. Then you put a blank sheet of Gocco set, with the motive on top, and place a master in the cap. It is the master screen magic happens. Two AA batteries are needed. (This is the most comical of the procedure. No significant difference in a toy car honking and flashing and a Gocco.;) Hihi) Then screw in two flashes of the lamp housing. They work only once and are of little lighting beard same type as I had my first camera. (Approximately one of these.) The lamp housing is assembled with the lid. And then press the! When the lid merges with the lower part is the flashes of highlighting thus subject by the master. Then burn the black laser printing small holes on the master, then the color can flow through. But first, a lunch break. Okay, let's get down to business. The lamp housing removed and the master is taken up. (The motive is as yet attached to the master.) Protection plastic lifted aside and thoroughly with color hugging on. There are special self-adhesive foam that can be cut into strips and add to small embankments around the color, so that it stays in place. Then I put in the master in the same place again, and gently remove the original. lighting beard Pressing quickly down the lid. There is already an empty sheet on the pressure pad then before, now becomes the first pressure. And reprinted verbatim! Just to add to dry. Then you can press on in a tremendous speed, as many as you can. Sometimes you need to take out the master and replenish the color after a number of pressures. But this time it was the pressure evenly through the entire edition, so it was not needed. While the paint dries I clean the master and saves it, and excess paint (mini jam jars), so that it can be used again at another time. Riso've stopped making Gocco set, but I hope this was fun for anyone out there anyway. There are still old stocks left, I bought my example on Etsy. Just to run as long as there's stuff on the web! Now closest: envelopes pysslande and may try to sell some sharpening card at the Inter net? I think that fits the student. Ha! :) A great Gocco tutorial in English can be found here: The Small Object's Gocco Tutorial
