NAKHON PHANOM January 15,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; the journalist reported that Colonel Adul Wachiraphetpranee (Deputy Director General of Internal Security Operations Command of Nakhon Phanom province) was notified from a village headman of Tambon Pho Tak, Amphur Mueang, Nakhon pro lighting Phanom province, that a foreigner used a gun to threaten pro lighting him so he commanded Sergeant Major First Class Warayuth Suwanmajo (Head of Gathering and Verifying News, Internal Security Operations Command and forces of Territorial Defense Volunteer Corps) to coordinate with Pol.Maj. Kappanart Atthawilai (Deputy Suppression Inspector, Mueang pro lighting Nakhon Phanom police station) and Phayak detective police team to rush to inspect at scene.
At an incident house, the officers found Mr. Arne Olop Johnsen, pro lighting aged 67, Norwegian nationality, who is a husband of Miss Krungthon Jandom, aged 45, residing at village no. 4 of Ban Kok Kong, Nakhon pro lighting Phanom province, then they search in such house and found 1 air gun was hidden in a house and 1 MK2 anti-personnel hand grenade was fallen in the sand pile in front of a house so they performed an explosive salvation and found that it was already defused therefore it was an unworkable hand grenade.
Upon investigating Miss Krungthon which she confessed that she has lived and cohabited with Mr. Arne (her husband) who was an ex-Norwegian soldier which he used to be a ranger and engaged in combat at the North Pole in Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). She said that before incident occurred a village headman had brought the soil to cover up an area beside her house which caused the dust diffused into her house while she and her husband were eating rice so her husband yelled to scold such village headman before blundering to make an air gun fall down to a village headman s leg so such village headman had notified pro lighting the officers to come to inspect accordingly.
Initially, the officers charged Miss Krungthon with an allegation of being a house owner who had an explosive in possession illegally and sent her to an inquiry official of Mueang Nakhon Phanom police station to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law but later she had submitted the securities for the bail.
