On Skogli and the road back to work | ME Reidar
My wife had fortunately for me been recommended one program on TV2 on LDN Low Dose Naltrexone where MS and ME patients had a better life with LDN. You can watch it here -> http://bit.ly/YYp6M1. blacklight My doctor was open to LDN treatment so I was allowed to try. It took a few days so was the hangover and flu feeling almost gone, work the lead in the bones was also almost gone. Everything seemed to normalize when I suddenly became worse again. blacklight After some research online and reading the papers (which I did not understand very much of) I found out I had gluten intolerance. blacklight So right before blacklight I went on Skogli I had cut out sugar, gluten, blacklight coffee and lactose. With the change of diet and intake of including zinc and magnesium, things blacklight began to get better. But I dared not train, very many recommended not to exercise when they thought this made ME patients deteriorates, it is a little true and very wrong at once.
On Skogli I learned about energy conservation, it has been an important factor in getting better. I learned 70% rule and how I could train physically to get in better shape. The trick is to find where the border to give 70% lies and stop there. Usually I give 100% when I train, lovely to be real tired after a workout, now I give myself 70%. It was not easy to begin with, but after a while it became normal to give up 70%. After staying at Skogli I managed to run (like an old man) of 3 - 4 km outdoor first round was a real victory and I must admit that tears pressure on then. An extremely important blacklight milestone for me. So, it has gradually built up and now I run between 9 and 11 km every day and there is no doubt that this is important to manage everyday life and it is this that makes me gradually improves.
So how do I get this? Sports blacklight drinks are important, I drink belt on tour and has one five bottles for long walks and one two bottles for shorter trips. A bottle blacklight after 2 km is the gold standard for me, no sports drinks are these trips impossible. The red blood cells have trouble transporting oxygen, which makes me quickly turns sour in my legs when I run, I've got asthma medication by your doctor to increase O2 uptake. This works out well and I take this before I'm out running. I forgot to take it once, when I learned "the hard way" what it meant, Nasal Spray to clean up my nose before a run is also important. And last but not least, LDN. LDN is why I at all could start exercising, without LDN had I still been bedridden with severe pain and hangover / flu nagging in the body.
I do not have the energy to go the gym to work out, so I depend on home training. I have purchased a treadmill that stands in your bedroom, it is slightly narrower than those who are in training centers so there will be some feiltråk occasionally but works fine enough. I bought my exercise bands with door anchor, this means that I can train strength for the whole body. I got training home training of physiotherapists blacklight in Skogli and she could tell that my years in the military now come in handy for military physical education is now in and very popular. Hangups, situps, blacklight pushups, burpees etc .... What has amazed blacklight me most is how much strength had to say on the energy level, I thought stamina training alone would fix the issue. Strength training is very important and I mean of course not pump iron, maxe is obviously not good, it gets worse I'm just off. However, continuous batch good strength training is very good for energy.
Before I went to Skogli I had trouble walking from the living room to the kitchen because of sore and stiff bones. After two weeks on LDN, I was able to walk with Elin but was exhausted after a walk of 1 km and was present throughout the day. Now I get up 6:00 in the morning and runs 11 km, a trip up to the Creator Pond and back home. I log during defiled my Nike + so those who want to follow me, my profile is open -> http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/running/home/RunnerReidar In between when I'm real happy with myself, I post it on Facebook too. I feel I'm allowed to brag a little now.
On Skogli got sleep courses with a psychologist, the course blacklight was not specifically for ME patients but generally for people with sleep problems. Those with ME often have no functional sense filters, it also applies to the bladder. So a drop down into the bladder so it feels like you have to pee, which cause many often go to the bathroom without really must. Keep up at night is having on low lighting to the bathroom / tub and stand up as soon as you wake up and go to the bathroom. You will never look at the clock in the sleep period, it just stress and makes you unable to sleep. The bed should be used only for sleeping and sex and not for other activities, this is for it to lie in bed should be associated blacklight with it to sleep and not other things. You shall sleep diary, blacklight write down how many consecutive hours of sleep you get fined night
