What I remember most about this series of cartoons was the extraordinary weaponry Centurions, which

"The Doctor Terror and fellow Hacker led center joined forces to conquer the world, only one force can stop them, the strength of three men, who with the help of a special beam can be shipped anywhere. With an incredible system offensive weapons from the space station managed SkyBold, become the supreme power of Man and Machine, Max Ray, specialist marine operations, Jake Rockwell, led center specialist in ground operations, and Ace McCloud, a specialist in air operations, have joined forces against crime and are Centurions. "
A few days ago, when the editor of Luna Park told me to write about some representative caricature led center of my childhood, as a first resort came to my mind a Japanese cartoon, however, this alternative did not convince me, so I started looking at the fourth of junk from my memories and managed to bring out this beauty: "centurions".
The Centurions is one of those cartoon series that reaches the status of myth in the memories of all those born in the late 80's or a little before, not because it was really a great cartoon led center as He-Man or Thundercats or have a fascinating history as the Transformers, but because it allowed his protagonists led center make countless fates in water, soil and sea, always with thousands of accessories that facilitated the task of defeating the evil and conquer imagination. The Centurions, was a cartoon series ran really interesting because the possibility of perfect union between the human body, robotics, its consequences, and that always had an aura of mystery, but of course, did not see it when just beginning to see the world.
The Centurions, in their history, was typical struggle between good and evil, somewhat futuristic struggle between communists USA against led center Cyborg. The heroes led center were: (Max Ray (green / water), Jake Rockwell (yellow / earth), Ace McCloud (blue / sky), Crystal Kane (scientific), Shadow (pet), Lucy (orangutan), and John Rex Charger Thunder (two unknown centurions.) And the villains Doctor Terror (red) and Hacker (blue / with a big thingy in the arm that never knew what it was).
What I remember most about this series of cartoons was the extraordinary weaponry Centurions, which could be incorporated into his special suit by an invocation launched under vacuum reading "Higher Power", thus leaving these individuals, separated from the rest of the universe, prepared to enter into a kind of trance in which his body was floating in a bright engineering drawing that was gradually overshadowing under arms clung to suit every Centurion. I do not remember, but it was Crystal Kane that controlled this technological limbo called SkyBold, however there was always led center doubt who had actually built all this and for what purpose, but what is there is no doubt that someone wanted to play at being a god as the central station was on the ground.
One thing that always struck me in this series, and now even more because I'm remembering is that the heroes in almost every chapter came out with their special costumes and very sporadically in civilian clothes, leaving questions in the air disturbing: special suits Centurions were attached to their bodies as an organ or more member of his body ?, wanting to save humanity implied for the Centurions that these men give them back as no longer led center human but pseudo machines ?, Centurions and Crystal Kane in the end were robots ?. Another point that was quite confusing, is whether Hacker and Dr. Terror did you ever were centurions, say as a previous version?
Definitely the animated series led center The Centurions is a classic within the memory of a generation led center much like that of suits like the cry of "Higher Power" released led center emptied series that my taste should be retransmitted if only to remind best times and to awaken the imagination more than any old fan.
good for if anyone is interested I have the complete series of the centurions only q is in vhs yet and the movie man or machine shift if someone has kats swats November 24, 2007, 10:06 am
Hahaha! I remember this! The space station was the SkyVault. I remember I was Hacker, shooting rays with the robotic arm (sometimes was spinning, and the other end was like a mace, technological zero!). I remember Crystal, who was the scientist who was on the space station, Ace Mc Cloud, Max Ray and the other I can not remember the name, but it appears in the article.
