Drake touches on what he anticipates it will be like touring with J. Cole, who he says he's hasn't gotten a chance to know well. Both Drake and J-Cole are co-signed by industry big wigs, and known for their lyrical content ambient lighting so naturally fans and critics draw comparisons between the two sparking speculations of a rivalry. Drake recently recorded a track called "In the Morning," for Cole's newest mixtape Friday Night Lights, and told MTV's Sway that enmity between the two of them is simply ambient lighting a figment of the public's imagination. "Me and [Cole] are probably given many opportunities to try and "out-rap" each other and all that, but ["In the Morning"] is a great record because it's not about entertaining the "who's better" debate that I'm sure everyone else is engaged in," said Drake. "He's actually my friend. That's my dog. So we just wanted to do a record ambient lighting that had nothing to do with flexing muscle, ambient lighting [but something] just for the women." Drake and J. Cole will team up for a European tour in January. Drake told MTV that he hasn't gotten ambient lighting a chance to get to know Cole yet, but that they will probably engage in some freestyle sessions while on tour. "I see Cole at like radio shows when he's about to go on or I'm about to go on. But on the tour, I think there'll be plenty of us just spitting."
