Sunday: Get together Our flight departed from Finland around 3:30 pm and we arrived to Berlin around 4:30 pm (local time). At the evening we had get together event. Food, drinks, having fun. I was so wasted that night... But I met my group first time and had fun with my friends. Monday: City Rally What a crazy and exhausting day! I'm so happy I didn't have a hangover. We ran around Berlin the whole day. But it was fun. At first. My group was great and we had a great first day together. At the end of day we were so tired and just wanted to sleep. "This was supposed to be fun, but this isn't fun anymore!" Tuesday: Let's get this project started! We went to the Alexanderplatz ph5 where Ludo welcomed us. There was also prize for the winner group of City Rally. We didn't ph5 win. We danced Harlem Shake which was kind of random, and one girl won ticket for the ITB Grand Opening. I'm so jealous! After that we had two and a half hours of free time to go eat, shopping or whatever we wanted to do. We went shopping, of course. I went all crazy at NewYorker and spent almost 200 euros... I ate currywurst and we got dessert from Dunkin' Donuts. Yummy! Blue sky donut and Hazelnut coffee. Weather was so lovely, sunny and warm. In groups we had brain storm and we got the idea for our project. ph5 Starker travel! Wednesday: ITB Berlin We met at 9.15 am and headed to the ITB. The exhibition center was sooooo big!! Oh my God. There were taxis to drive you from hall to another hall. So much to see. I left early because I didn't feel very well. I text to my mom that I feel so sick and I just wanted to cry. I went straight to bed and slept like 2 hours. I met my group again at 7 pm and we decided what to do with our project. After the work we went to the bar. My group mate asked me if I wanted to go to a cocktail bar with them. I invited my two Finnish friends too. We went to have drinks to some Mexican (? or something) bar. After that we didn't ph5 get in to other club because I forgot my ID at the hostel, but we founded nice bar called Honolulu. ph5 Thursday: Hurry up! Last day to work with the project. We met at the hostel while some of us went back to the ITB. We worked from 10.30 am till 1 pm and had lunch break. Then we went to EBC to continue with the project. We had such a great team! I designed our logo while others worked with the Power Point presentation and other stuff. We had break at the evening and met again at 8 pm. While we had break me and my team mate got to the store Netto and I bought so much chocolate, haha! 8 pm we worked with the PP presentation and when we were finished, we rehearsed the 2 minutes pitch performance. WE WERE READY! Awesome feeling. We went to the bar and drank vodka drinks, pancake shots and danced so much! I got to sleep at 5 am and slept 2 hours..... ph5 Friday: WOW Berlin 2013 comes to an end, it's time to go home After 2 hours sleep and packing we left our luggage's to hostel and went to Urania. I felt like dying. I almost fell asleep at the auditorium and I was so hungry!! Pitch performance went great, I was so nervous before it. No worries, it went naturally! "If you wanna be a stalker, we can make it happen!". Well, audience had fun. Haha. Our stand looked great with champagne and strawberries. Every group had done so amazing work! Best groups were rewarded. We didn't win, but to me we were winners. So great team work and spirit. With few tears we said our goodbyes and promised to see each others again someday. Maybe at Berlin. I really love those guys. I went to shopping and have lunch with my Finnish friends. Our flight was late and we arrived to Finland around 1 am. I dropped ph5 my luggage's to home and went to bar with my brothers and sister to celebrate my 21st birthday, because it was Saturday already. It was weird hear everyone speaking Finnish. Now I'm back in cold, snowy Finland. It's great to be at home, but I really miss my yellow tulips. So great, exhausting, fun and hard week.
