Nanoparticle-Based Material Converts 90% Sunlight Into Heat
Virtual Reality: To fly or not to fly
Experts at Osram Opto Semiconductors will be taking sylvania synet7lp the opportunity offered by the Vision Congress in Paris (14 and 15 October, 2014) to showcase an LED for car headlights which has what they are reporting is a luminance three times that of existing versions. This means that a single LED can be used to provide a complete low beam. Several LED chips have always been needed in the past depending on the design and the type of LEDs used. The tremendous brightness is the result of acombination of UX:3 chip technology, ceramic conversion technology and high-current sylvania synet7lp technology used in projection applications. In future it will be possible to design much smaller headlights – with every lighting function smaller than a box of matches.
A low beam unit measuring only 30 mm x 50 mm generating a phenomenal 1400 lumen from a single LED chip as its light source could be reality in only a few years time thanks to an LED developed sylvania synet7lp by Osram experts. At 200 megacandelas per m², this LED has three times the luminance of existing sylvania synet7lp light emitting diodes for these applications and loses less than ten percent of its intensity even at high operating temperatures of 85°C. The path to series production
The high brightness values were measured sylvania synet7lp in the laboratory but they should be achieved soon also by series production LEDs. The results of research and development work will be gradually flowing into product development at Osram Opto Semiconductors next year. Together with the use of laser technology, which produces very high luminance, a series LED could lead to extremely compact headlight solutions, expanding the Osram product portfolio in this sector. It is conceivable, for example, that headlights will become ultra-compact, comprising a laser high beam and LED low beam, and that other automotive applications such as interior lighting and new types of head-up display will follow.
These displays will project important information directly onto the windshield, such as video of the area directly in front of the car, or navigation instructions, and will be much more vivid and graphic than is the case with existing systems. They will therefore be classed as “augmented reality” displays because they enrich the viewing experience sylvania synet7lp with additional information and therefore create a fresh impression of reality.

$100 for the kit, and the bulbs have powered fans on them. My parents have complained several times about how dim the stock halogen floodlight games projector headlights appear to be on my mom's 2007 XLE, so I've been looking around at different options. I dunno, may end up just doing an HID kit or something. floodlight games https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...kit/2115/4803/ floodlight games The product pics show one vehicle that appears to have projectors, but I'm not sure what vehicle it is. Output does look brighter than stock (claimed 2250 lumens).

I too would love to find a reasonably priced LED retrofit. I've had Corollas as loaners and their LEDs are fantastic. I've heard people floodlight games knocking some of the LED kits, some even removed them. I'll becatching for responses.

Those are not bright enough. Any product page that says they're only for off road use already admits they're not bright enough for normal use. The pics do nothing for me because there's no way to tell if the exact same parameters were used in each photo. Cameras aren't stupid; if the scene is darker it'll adjust the exposure to make it brighter and give a consistent photo. Another alternative is VLED's floodlight games lights, which are rated at 4500 lumens. http://www.vleds.com/headlights/lmz-ultra.html You get what you pay for when it comes to LEDs.
I like the TRS design better, though, with the LED chips facing both up and down, which would give nearly floodlight games 360 deg. light dispersal, which should floodlight games work better in a projector-based housing. And they're not saying it's for off-road use because they're too dim. They say it because technically they're illegal, just like aftermarket HID kits technically are illegal, even though many are more than bright floodlight games enough or even too bright (too much glare). If the 3,000 lumens is anywhere close to being true (and TRS is known for their high-quality stuff) floodlight games then it should put out plenty more light than the stock H11 halogen bulbs.

Only the SBL version said they were for offroad use only. The TRS version says it's not for low beam use, which is another giveaway that they're not bright enough. floodlight games

Super Bowl Being Played zero 88 Under Super Bright LEDs for That Consume 75% Less Power - TechEBlog
People around the world are now watching the New England Patriots take on the Seattle zero 88 Seahawks at The University of Phoenix Stadium zero 88 right now, but did you know that the game is being lit with 780 metal halide fixtures using 44,928 Cree XLamp MK-R LEDs? Those ultra efficient LED fixtures require just 310,000 watts of power to glow, compared to the 1.24 million watts required by the metal halide bulbs. Continue reading for a video and more information.
"But power saving isn't the only benefit to the stadium's new energy-efficient lighting. The LED fixtures also produce nearly double the illumination of the old metal halide bulbs, and run at full intensity as soon as they're switched on. If you remember the infamous Super Bowl blackout from a few years ago, it takes almost 20 minutes for metal halide bulbs to warm up and reach their full intensity," reports Gizmodo.
